Elisabeth Cardin a été horticultrice avant d’ouvrir le réputé restaurant Manitoba à Montréal. Elle est également autrice, rédactrice, baladiste et illustratrice. Depuis 2022, elle habite Saint-Jean-Port-Joli, dans Chaudière-Appalaches.
